Lagos State Assembly Offers N1.25 million For Info On Tortured Ejigbo Women Accused of Stealing Pepper

The Lagos State Assembly yesterday announced a N1.25million reward for anyone with useful info on the dastard act perpetuated on two women by some men in Ejigbo in 2013.


During a stakeholders meeting on this issue held at Alausa Secretariat yesterday, Mr Ajibola Adeyeye who is the Chairman Ad hoc committee set up by the Assembly to investigate the incident announced the reward token. See link to video of the abuse posted about a month ago:  http://adf.ly/btaNF

"Anybody that gives information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous act shall be given N1 million. And I will add the sum of 250,000 from my private account to increase the sum to N1.25million" He said.

No leads have been made since the video surfaced on the internet a few months back. Lawmakers have commenced hearing on the case.
