Girl Abducted 27 Months Ago By Boko Haram Escaped And Says Abubakar Shekau Might Be Father Of Her Baby

A girl abducted 27 months ago by Boko Haram members is back and afraid that the sect leader Abubakar Shekau might be father of her baby.

Abubakar Shekau
The girl, who was abducted at the age of 17 after the insurgents had killed her parents, managed to escape this year after having been held in captivity for almost 2 years and a half.

It is reported that she is having a baby from Shekau. According to the girl, she could hear screams of girls raped by the sect members and see them being tortured for refusal to change their faith.

The escaped victim narrated her story describing Shekau and conditions in which the kidnap victims are held.

"He seems to be panicking all the time and issuing instructions. He is a softly spoken man – it is almost as if he whispers, if you are meeting him for the first time, you would never be scared of him. But I soon learned that after every whisper something dangerous would happen somewhere in Nigeria.

"He once asked me if I was willing to fight for the cause, to which I answered no, he told me I could be a fighter and a domestic slave. I didn't want to speak to him in case what I said offended him. All it would take was one wrong word and he would have had me killed. I thought he was drinking or taking something whenever he came, one could notice maybe he lost men or something was not right.

It is reported that "Abu" has many children, all from different women. She lamented the abductees had to travel a lot, which was hard for her "with a baby strapped to my back".

Some girls were forced to carry guns and bombs and one - even a rocket-propelled grenade launcher on her shoulder.

The lady was badly shot in the leg, when the Nigerian army stormed the Boko Haram camp, but she managed to escape.

Upon returning home, she was treated in Maiduguri, however not warmly accepted by the remaining family, the girl confessed:

"My uncle will not have me because he is ashamed of my child whose paternity is not only questionable but is dangerous if it is Shekau."

Now the girl, who lost almost all of her relatives, dreams about finishing her secondary education but doesn't know how to overcome the huge gap.

She was quoted saying: "I know I am intelligent and willing to learn, but where do I start from?"

FIFA World Cup 2014: Child Prostitutes Flood The Streets Of Brazil To Cash-In On Fans

Children as young as 10 are being forced to sell themselves for sex on the streets of Brazil to cash in on the waves of football fans heading to the World Cup. On the contrary, a certain woman said, "it's a lucrative business and my girls are happy with it"

Investigations reveals how kids living in shocking squalor and high on crack cocaine are exploited by drug dealers and pimps. And as 600,000 foreign fans including Brits flood into Brazil this week, the youngsters’ plight will get worse.

Thousands of desperate kids…

TOUT for sex for as little as £1.30 after pimps order them to wear clothes and make-up to look older.

PLY their sordid trade within yards of hotels where British fans will stay.

SNIFF from bottles of industrial glue to stop the pangs of hunger.

FEAR for their lives after a 14-year-old prostitute was murdered and her body dumped in the street last month by a man who refused to pay for sex.

This shocking trade of young girls and boys on street corners goes on under the noses of police in the world’s seventh wealthiest economy.

Glue kids: They inhale glue – nicknamed ‘cola’

As soon as you arrive at the airport, the taxi drivers waiting to pick you up offer to take you to places to buy drugs or sex. Children sit around in city centre squares where fans will gather. Many had attempted to make themselves look older with clothes and make-up.

Accompanied by a translator and a missionary who works with children on the streets, I spoke to three very young girls, one of whom was clearly not well because of the drugs she was taking and glue she was sniffing.

Lorrisa is only 13 and her frame so tiny that I am sure her growth had been stunted by drugs. She sniffed from a plastic bottle containing strong industrial glue, which they nickname “cola”, as she explained how she lives.

Lorrisa said that: “Sniffing the glue makes me feel dizzy and numb and it stops me feeling hungry so I don’t need to eat.

“It helps me cope with the violence and danger on the streets.” Lorrisa’s friend Raphaela, 13, reveals how she gets approached by scores of men looking for sex – locals, tourists and taxi drivers.

Prostitute: Raphaela, 13 said they will pay 10 Brazilian real, the equivalent of £2.60.

A Sikh Woman Blinded By Her Father-In-Law Who Suspected Her Of Cheating

A Sikh woman has been rendered blind after being attacked by her father-in-law because he thought she was having an affair with a Muslim man.

Jageer Mirgind was left blind and scarred for life after 51-year-old Manjit Mirgind slashed her wrists and stabbed her in the eyes screaming ‘I am going to kill you’.

Mrs Mirgind’s children, just three and six years old, watched the horrific attack at their mother’s home in Kensington Gardens, Ilford, East London, and pleaded with their grandfather to stop.
The crazed attacker wrongly believed his daughter-in-law was ‘sleeping with a Paki’ and that she had ‘ruined his family’.

Tragically, Mirgind misunderstood the situation when his daughter was the victim of a series of prank calls.
According to Dailymail ,After punching her in the face he dragged her into the kitchen where he savagely kicked her before grabbing a knife. He eventually left and went home as his wife called an ambulance for Mrs Mirgind. He later turned himself in at the police station and told them exactly what had happened.
Judge Nigel Peters QC said: ‘You have accepted that you have caused the most serious injuries to your daughter in law.

‘You set about her having taken umbrage because you felt she was having affairs when it turned out she had been receiving prank calls. You set out with great hostility and vengeance – you punched her, forced to the ground and kicked her and took knives to her face and wrist to gouge her eyes.
‘She has since lost a lot of sight in both eyes and there is major scarring to her face.
In a statement read by his lawyer Edward Boateng-Addo, he said: ‘

I am a hard-working family man who left his job to care for his ill mother seven years ago.I was stressed out at the time and nothing can excuse what I did.I was trying to protect her – I am a peaceful and honest man and I know I will not have the chance to apologise but I do look to the court to say how sorry I am.
He had initially been charged with attempted murder but prosecutors later accepted a plea of causing grievous bodily harm with intent in order to avoid having to go to trial. He stared at the floor as he was jailed for ten years and eight months

Mother Of Soldier Killed By Boko Haram Cries Out !

A mother, Mrs. Sarai Usman, whose son was killed at the Nigerian-Chad border by Boko Haram said that son's family has been abandoned by government.

In an interview, Mrs. Sarai Usman, 55, said that she found out from her daughter-in-law that her son, Lance Corporal David Usman, was killed on May 18, 2013 at the Nigerian-Chad border by Boko Haram sect.
"He was just 37 years old when he was killed. He left behind a wife and two children. The first child is three years old and the second is six months. His wife was just two months pregnant when he died. He never got to see his son’s face before Boko Haram killed him," the mother said.

According to her, since her son died, she don’t have enough money to take care of herself and his family. Usman's children don't attend school as their mother can’t afford it. "I was devastated when I heard (about son's death), I fell on the ground wailing. I didn't want to believe my son was gone at first, but when reality dawned on me, I had to come to terms with his death," the mother confessed.

Mrs. Sarai Usman believes that the government should support his family financially, because he died while protecting his country.

"His family has been suffering. His salary has not been paid since his death and his family has no sign concerning the payment of his benefits or gratuity, I’ve complained several times but it’s been to no avail. They have no money to sustain themselves. It was his earnest desire to give his children sound education," she said.

Speaking about her last conversation with her son, she admitted that he advised her to warn his younger brother not to go out anyhow because of the Boko Haram sect. "He said I should prevent him from going to Boko Haram infested zones. He never knew the evil he was trying to protect his brother against would still kill him," Mrs. Usman said.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi : Our Plane Was Grounded In Kano State

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state, on Monday reacted to the Federal Government grounding his chartered plane in Kano state on Sunday, June 8 after former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, emerged the new emir of Kano, yesterday.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi
Governor Amaechi who was reported to have mounted pressure on Kano state Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso in making Lamido Sanusi the new Emir of Kano state recounted his ordeal of how he and other dignitaries after visiting Governor Kwankwaso while about to board the chartered aircraft plane back to Abuja were held hostage by authorities who locked all the doors to the complex.

He said: The plane was also impounded. “The Kano governor called the airport commandant that we should at least be allowed to leave the building but the commandant refused saying he had an order from above not to let us out” “We had to force one of the doors open to get away.”
Scared for their lives he said: “So we quickly got a car, bought fuel and started driving towards Abuja. We sold a dummy to the airport people and a few others that we were returning to the Kano Government House.

The governor was also expecting us. But we were far gone. I personally drove the car and all of us had to switch off our phones so no one would know our whereabouts.
“I drove for five hours and we arrived Abuja at 2 a.m. We were not afraid of armed robbers or anyone attacking us on the road. We were only afraid that the authorities could plant people on the road to waylay and attack us. But thank God we arrived safe.

“I have been shouting that we are in a dictatorship, people thought I’m joking or exaggerating,” Mr. Amaechi said. “At least we can all see what is playing out.”
Other dignitaries alongside Governor Amaechi in the plane who ended up travelling by road were: the former governor of Gombe State, Senator Danjuma Goje, and a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, a former governor of Kwara state, Senator Shaaba Lafiagi.
